Currently consisting of over 40 staff, Quadrant Mechanical Services is a company bringing together the skills, knowledge and expertise of a range of people with specialist backgrounds and experiences in Airconditioning and Mechanical Services. We are highly qualified within our field, and operate as a continuously learning organisation.

Our core activities include the supply, installation, commissioning and servicing of commercial airconditioning and mechanical services systems, specialising in laboratory and hospital applications.

Our mission is to create and build a high quality airconditioning and mechanical services company. Delivering responsive, innovative and professional services from the drawing office through to service including all facets in between to the Building Industry and beyond. Our experience within the industry will allow us to deliver innovation with a fresh approach and provide our clients with cost effective and quality built systems.

Meet the team

Darren Weymouth - Business Development Manager
Darren is a highly experienced and respected Business Development Manager with 21 years experience within the airconditioning industry. His initial training was as a Trainee Draftsman and progressed to a Drawing Office Manager for several years before turning to Estimating. Darren is highly experienced in providing anything from budget cost or full estimates for projects ranging in value from $2,000 to $10,000,000. Darren is also a Green Star accredited professional.


Darryl Mason - Construction Manager
Darryl is an extremely competent and experienced Project Manager with over 20 years experience within the airconditioning industry. His initial training was as an Apprentice Plumber and progressed to a Site Foreman before turning to Project Management. Darryl has extensive experience in the area of health and universities with recent projects including the management of specialist equipment and subcontractors such as Chilled Ceilings, Fume Cupboards, Medical Gases, Gas Detection Systems, etc. Darryl’s duties include quality control, occupational health & safety, purchasing, programming and client liaison.


John Palumbo - Operations Manager
John is a highly skilled, accomplished and well regarded Site Manager with over 20 years experience within the airconditioning industry. His initial training was as an Apprentice Plumber and progressed to a Site Foreman and Site Manager. John is very knowledgeable and specialises in the welding of pipework systems including stainless steel and large bore steel pipe systems. John has experience in managing over 100 plumbers over a multiple of sites. John’s duties include quality control, occupational health & safety, coordination and meeting construction programs.


Glenn Cox - Service Manager
Glenn is qualified Refrigeration Mechanic with eighteen years experience in the industry. Glenn can provide recommendations and quotes for any service or maintenance proposals from a wall mounted split system to multi storey central plant chilled and heating water systems.


Craig Humphreys - Project Manager

Craig has over 20 years experience in the airconditioning industry. He started as a Trainee Draftsman, progressing to Project Draftsman and to Drawing Office Manager. He then turned to Project Manager and has specialised in projects up to $1 million.


Russell Hier - Drafting Manager

Russell is an experienced Drafting Manager with knowledge and expertise in Mechanical Services drafting using the latest Autocad software including Revit and 3D Modelling. Russell started his career as a plumber and fully understands the requirement for site installation and coordination. Russells experience includes large complex plantroom shop drawings in complete 3D for added visual and coordination purposes.



Site: Quadrant Mechanical Services has a range of enthusiastic and experienced supervisors capable of managing projects from the basic split system installation to complex Multi Million Dollar projects. Our site labour has experience ranging from duct installation through to large bore black steel – stainless steel and ABS pipe systems.

Subcontractors: Here at Quadrant Mechanical Services we only align ourselves with quality subcontractors as we believe the work they perform for us is a direct reflection on our business.

Service Division: Quadrant Mechanical Services can provide Service on small airconditioning installations to Preventative Maintenance agreements for multi storey buildings. Service Division

At Quadrant Mechanical Services we specialise in commercial airconditioning system maintenance and servicing for all types of systems. Our key goals are to provide quality service to the industry through one on one contact with the clients with a personal touch. We are able to service all types of equipment from split systems through to large scale mechanical plant.

Maintenance

Our key goals are to provide owners with improved reliability, lower running costs, and reduced risks.

Specialist fields include major plant auditing and overhauls with cooling tower and chiller replacement packages.  DDC, Electronic and Pneumatic control auditing for the improvement of running costs and comfort conditions Service is supported by the installation division with extensive experience in all types of installations from tenancy fits out, major plant replacement to large scale clean room and laboratory facilities.

We can also offer tenancy fit out alterations to suit new tenant requirements including the installation of supplementary systems and modifications to existing.
